Richmond armed robberies target pizza delivery driver, cab driver

Police are investigating armed robberies in South Richmond that targeted a pizza delivery driver and a cab driver. Neither victim was injured in either robbery. Based on suspect descriptions, initial indications were that the two crimes were not linked.

Two years ago, Phillip Twine signed up for the frequent-shopper program at Kroger so he could buy cheaper gasoline at its supermarkets that have service stations.
"I got a Kroger card just to get the gas prices," Twine said. "I didn't go to Kroger to eat."
