Mitt Romney slammed the Obama Administration's energy policies Thursday, mocking his "all of the above energy strategy." Romney said that stood for "everything above ground."

YORK – The York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office Wednesday arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with the alleged sexual abuse of a child.

The two men injured during a shooting in the 1100 block of 34th Street Wednesday evening were struck by gunfire from a drug transaction in the area, Newport News police said.

A 67-year-old York County man died Wednesday after being involved in a multi-vehicle accident near the intersection of Middle Ground Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue.

YORK – Middlesex County deputies quickly apprehended a 36-year-old man Wednesday night in connection with an armed robbery hours earlier in the parking lot of Walmart in upper York County.

VIRGINIA BEACH Police arrested a third man in connection with a Pembroke homicide last month, they said this morning. 

A 20-year-old Portsmouth man died Tuesday after being involved in a bicycle accident near Bainbridge Boulevard and Military Highway.

Two North Carolina school divisions are opening late this morning because of patchy fog. Gates County schools are opening one hour late, according to officials there. Hertford County schools also are on a one-hour delay, WVEC-TV was reporting.
