Virginia News Shockoe baseball stadium plan wins initial backing 6-3

The Richmond City Council chose Monday to press ahead with the plan for a baseball stadium in Shockoe Bottom, but the 6-3 vote leaves little room for error as Mayor Dwight C. Jones sets out to finalize the project’s details.
