Today's Marine Corps Historic Half marathon will be the first time Jesse and Jenny Love run together as a couple. Unlike other teams in the race, she'll be running the course in Fredericksburg and he'll be completing the 13.1 miles across the Afghan desert. Jesse, a civilian crew chief of the Delaram fire department at the Forward Operating Base Delaram II in Afghanistan said, "For me it's exciting, very exciting. I'm typically only home 30 days a year, so for us to be able to do something together on opposite ends of the earth is something very special.
