Internal disputes in a thriving medical practice in Fredericksburg were finally resolved earlier this month, but not before an audit by Mary Washington Hospital resulted in a refund of a quarter-million dollars from the physician group. Almost 80 residents in King George County have reported damage from the Aug. 23 earthquake, ranging from drywall cracks to damaged foundations, said Lt. Steve Lynd of King George's Department of Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services. Some homes in Dahlgren "had as much damage as homes in Louisa," Lynd told the Board of Supervisors Tuesday night. "It was amazing to see damage, that far from the epicenter, that was as bad as ground zero."...
