NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO ADOPT A TAX RATE
AND TO ADOPT PROPOSED BUDGET FOR 2013-2014
Pursuant to Va. Code ¤¤ 15.2-2506 and 15.2-1427(F), notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Mt.
Crawford, Virginia (the ÒCouncilÓ) will hold a public hearing to adopt a tax rate and to adopt the proposed Budget for
2013 Ð 2014 (the ÒBudgetÓ) as outlined below:

Th e public hearing, which may be continued or adjourned, will be held before the Town Council at 7:00 p.m. on
Monday, June 10, 2013, at the Ruritan Hall, 1 Ruritan Road, Mt. Crawford, Virginia. Any person interested in the Budget
may appear at the hearing and present his or her views. Th e Council may set time limits on speakers and other rules and
procedures for the conduct of this public hearing.
A copy of the proposed Budget is on fi le and available for public review, at all hours, in the U.S. Post Offi ce, located at
411 N. Main Street, Mt. Crawford, Virginia, and in the offi ces of Wharton, Aldhizer & Weaver PLC, 125 South Augusta
Street, Suite 2000, Staunton, Virginia, and 100 South Mason Street, Harrisonburg, Virginia during regular business hours
of 8:30 a.m. thru 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
Written comments regarding the tax rate and Budget may be forwarded either to the Town Council prior to the public
hearing, addressed to Town of Mt. Crawford, PO Box 187, Mt. Crawford, Virginia 22841, or to the Council during said
hearing. Requests for audio or visual assistance for those persons requiring such assistance during the hearing must be
submitted in writing at the address given above no later than 12:00 noon, Wednesday, June 5, 2013. Such requests must
specify the type of assistance or aid required.
