NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ROCKINGHAM COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
At the regular meeting of the Rockingham County Planning
Commission on Tuesday, July 2, at 6:30 P.M., in the Board of Supervisors
Meeting Room of the Rockingham County Administration Center, 20
East Gay Street, Harrisonburg, Virginia, a public hearing will be held to
receive comments on the following:
ADDITION TO AGRICULTURAL AND FORESTAL DISTRICTS (AFD)
AFP13-130 Application by Dale C. and Sharon M. Knicely for an
amendment to Chapter 17, Zoning Ordinance, Article XI, Division
4, Section 17-240 to revise the total acreage and to add parcel 106-
(A)- L128 to the Dry River Agricultural and Forestal District. Located
along the northeast side of Mole Hill Rd (913), 0.434 miles east of
the intersection of Mole Hill Rd (913) and Coakley Town Rd (732),
this parcel lies in Election District 2 and is identified as Agricultural
Reserve in the Comprehensive Plan.
AFP13-144 Application by Michael Hill for an amendment to Chapter
17, Zoning Ordinance, Article XI, Division 6, Section 17-248 to revise
the total acreage and to add parcels 92-(A)- L174 and 92-(A)- L174A to
the Western Rockingham Agricultural and Forestal District. Located
at the southeast corner of the intersection of Eversole Road (766) and
Weavers Road (726), these parcels lie in Election District 2 and are
identified as Agricultural Reserve in the Comprehensive Plan.
