NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ROCKINGHAM COUNTY BOARD
OF SUPERVISORS
At the regular meeting of the Rockingham
County Board of Supervisors on
Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at 7:00 P.M.,
in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room
of the Rockingham County Administration
Center, 20 East Gay Street, Harrisonburg,
Virginia, a public hearing will be held to
receive comments on the following.
REZONING
REZ-114, Rockingham County to rezone
74.643 acres of parcel 126-(2)- LA, located
east of Spotswood Trail (US33) and west
of Indian Trail Road (620), from A-1 (Prime
Agricultural) to A-2 (General Agricultural)
Conditional and B-1 (General Business)
Conditional, and to rezone a 5.975-acre
parcel, 125-(A)- L144, and a 0.65-acre parcel,
125-(A)- L144A, totaling 6.625 acres, located
north of Fieldale Place (895) and west of
Reservoir Street (710), from R-2 (Medium
Density Residential) to B-1 (General
Business) Conditional. The Comprehensive
Plan designates the intersection of
Spotswood Trial and Indian Trail Road as
a Mixed Use Center, the area extending
north and east from this intersection as
Agricultural Reserve, and the intersection
of Fieldale Place and Reservoir Street as
Community Residential. All parcels are
located within Election District 3.
