While some might say the rivalry between Virginia High and Tennessee High has lost some of its luster in the last few years – it is in fact a matchup between a Group A school and Class AAA school, a large discrepancy in enrollment – the school’s have proven in the last few months that V-T games can still be memorable.

Old Dominion could have another eight weeks to decide whether to join Conference USA, which announced the addition of five members Friday. The addition of Texas-San Antonio, North Texas, Charlotte, Florida International and Louisiana Tech brought C-USA's membership to 13. To add a 14th member by 2013, the conference would have to act by June 30, commissioner Britton Banowsky said.
