Officers with the Roanoke County Police Department on Monday arrested a Boones Mill man on firearm and assault charges, authorities said.

Benjamine Leonard Foley II, 49, faces charges of assaulting a law enforcement officer, reckless handling of a firearm, brandishing a firearm and carrying a concealed weapon, police said.
