The Roanoke man who hid in the back seat of a woman's car with a knife while she withdrew money from a Salem ATM, then abducted and robbed her, will serve 35 years in prison.

All four people in the truck were hurt in the crash, which started with antics in a parking lot.

The crash into a Salem house by a pickup truck Thursday evening happened as the truck's driver fled from police, according to a police news release.

The driver, Mychal Wilkins, 21, of Roanoke, was in fair condition at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital on Friday afternoon, charged with driving while intoxicated.
